A poke here, a tweak there and things seem to be happy again. Fingers crossed it’ll stay that way, although I’ve still got several other plugins I want to add to the site and I’ll probably change my mind about the theme of the site in a day or two so don’t be surprised if things go badly arwry pretty soon 😉

UMID’s “super mini laptop” is small, shiny, super – Engadget: I’ve been thinking that one of the Asus or Eeeeeeeeeee netbooks would be perfect for me. They wouild fit in my rucksack (that’s normally stuffed with cycling gear), they’re pretty hardy (especially with SSD) and have enough grunt to be able to take notes, basic browsing etc … basically where my iPhone is great for out and about quickies, I’d like something for out and about slightly more prolonged sessions … and this Super mini laptop (sub-netbook?) looks even more perfect. Wonder how much it’ll cost?

It would appear that the comment link (that speech bubble thing next to the post title) is fubar’d for all stories that come in from syndication, ie. stories from Google Reader of Tumblr . . . I’m looking into it

changing things around again?? Well why the hell not . . . it’s been a couple of years at least since I decided to change things around and this time I’ve actually got a good reason. My old hosting company, web-mania.com, run php 4.1 on their servers and have just announced that they can’t upgrade beyond that . . . in order to run the current version of WordPress I need php 4.3.
WebFaction also has the advantage of virtually instant setup and configuration of new sites and web applications . . . it’s going to be fun playing around and seeing how much I can do in here 😉
